   I’ve been wanting to install a couple of small windows in our guest room, but cost was an issue right now. So I bought these two rope mirrors and added boat cleats as hangers in the mean time. Adds a nautical touch, and the price was right. They appear to be made well and were easy to hang. I hung them using picture hooks because the mirrors aren’t that heavy, plus they had the added support of the boat cleats. They even reflect some extra light until I can get the new windows. Happy with them.

   This mirror is WAY nicer than I expected. I read one review that said it was like a carnival mirror so I got nervous… that couldn’t be further from the truth! This mirror fits my coastal decor perfectly – it has a heavy-weight to it, the rope cord is tightly woven, and the backing is very secure. The whole thing totally surpassed my expectations and honestly I feel like this is worth much more than I paid for it. Awesome gigamirror.com find!

   I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this mirror after reading some of the reviews. It was disappointing though to discover that the tie at the side of the mirror was pulled too tight, so that the rope did not line up with the edge of the mirror. Otherwise it would have been a nice item, giving the room a nautical feel.

    I ordered 2 of these , one for each side of my bed. They arrived in a HUGE box with NO padding so they were rocking and rolling all over inside the box. One was wrapped in plastic with a thin piece of Styrofoam taped to the glass, the other one was not wrapped or protected in any way whatsoever. The one that was not wrapped was damaged. The glass became detached in a couple places from the backing of the the frame. Surprisingly, neither one of the mirrors had the glass part broken, one just busted loose from the rope frame so I had to glue it all back together. Looks nice for the money in my beach house bedroom. Only complaint is the poor shipping and having to fix something bought as new…
