   This mirror only worked for about a year. After that it does not hold a charge and light turnes red all the time. I have to charge it every 2 days .What a waist of money. I do not recommend.

   J’ai choisi un grossissement de 5, largement suffisant pour se maquiller et s’épiler. Il n’y a aucune déformation, quel que soit l’angle sous lequel on se regarde. L’éclairage est lui aussi performant, il n’éblouit pas malgré sa puissance et ne déforme pas les couleurs. En revanche j’éteins le miroir après usage à l’aide de l’interrupteur sous le pied : je ne l’ai jamais vu s’éteindre seul en l’absence de mouvement. Enfin il se recharge pour longtemps avec un chargeur micro USB standard (non fourni).

   Worth every penny. I’ve bought three. I bought the first one. My husband bought me the second after he broke it☹️ and this one I bought because my house burned down in LA two weeks ago. I love this mirror.

   I bought this mirror on Aug 10th 2014, it charged the first time and the mirror while the light worked was great. It did last approximately 6-8wks, which was nice. By the time it was time to charge the second time, just last wk (end of Oct) when plugged in the light stayed on and would not shut-off, then after a few hrs of charging (the light seem to finally shut off), I unplugged it but then the light sensor did not work and the light never came back on. I tried turning on and off the power switch on the base to no avail. I’ve loved simply human products and have a lot of kitchen and bath products, that’s why I decided to give this mirror (expensive one at that) a try. It’s tremendously dissapointing that this mirror has this flaw, I’ve researched other reviews and comments and they’ve had similar experiences. Right now it’s out of the return window (30 days) but I never expected this mirror would not function after 3months of use. I’ve written to the manufacture directly and reported this issue 3days back, still no answer, though it’s listed they’ll get back to you within 24hrs. I can’t seem to file a claim on gigamirror.com either. This has been a simply painful and laborious transaction and simply wants to make me no longer want to buy “simply human” products anymore.

   In less than 5 months, this mirror has stopped working properly. The power indicator found around the base of mirror won’t change from red. The mirror won’t take a charge. It no longer lights up. I would like to start a return on this product, as it is quite expensive! What are my next steps?

   Worked perfect for a year, started having an issue with the charging port being loose, Kept using the charger and would charge intermittently but would stay lit the whole time. After 4 years… it is finally toast, almost literally. Came to unplug from a night of charging and found the USB hard to remove, discovered the melted plastic around the port. We could have had a fire. SO MAD.

    bello robusto e professionale, mi è piaciuto tantissimo appena l’ho visto. Rispetto ad altri modelli questo è più alto per cui non devi chinarti per specchiarti o peggio posizionarlo su un rialzo. appena ti avvicini si illumina tutto intorno con una luce che riproduce quella naturale ma molto più intensa permettendoti di eseguire make-up precisi e professional, quando ti allontani si spegne da solo, ti avvisa con una spia rossa quando sta per scaricarsi, la sua autonomia dura circa due settimane abbondanti, io l’ho preso un mese e mezzo fa circa. lo consiglio a tutti dalla ragazza giovane alla signora la cui vista è un po’ calata (in questo caso ti salva la vita), all’uomo che vuole eseguire una rasatura perfetta. ottimo prodotto non potrei più farne a meno!!!!

    Forget the cheap lookalikes – there is only one simplehuman brand with its superbly engineered quality, style and practical features. Yes, it is a premium price, but it is a premium product. I tried endless mirrors to help me with fitting & removing my contact lenses, but they all fell short in some way; e.g., lack of focus, distortion, too small, etc. However, this simplehuman sensor mirror is stunning and exceeds all of my needs and requirements. It works flawlessly – simply approach it and the LED lights up, move away and after a few seconds the LED switches off. I have had this now for over two months and I have only needed to plug it once into my iPhone charger overnight to charge it back up. Simply brilliant!
