I’m loving this mirror so far. Time will tell if this love lasts. Once I finally got the hub to install it (easy installation, just needed his expertise and the proper tools), I find that I use it daily to apply my makeup, tweeze eyebrows, etc. The light is really bright and you can set it to a daylight setting or a more office/indoor light type. The magnifier is great for doing close tasks like tweezing. I also love that this is rechargeable so I don’t have to have it plugged in all the time!
I’m really glad I chose this mirror. If I notice any changes in the performance, I will update my review. As of now, 5 stars.

This is more like 2x or 3x magnification, I still need my reading glasses to see details – which defeats the purpose of having a magnifying mirror. Keeping it because the new location requires longer extension and I do like the light feature, but if it wasn’t something I needed, I would return it and probably spend more money to ensure quality. I don’t like writing negative reviews – but I wish I’d read this exact review before I purchased it. It is very cheaply made in all aspects: Most important is the actual magnification – advertized as 10x and it’s definitely not (my old one was 10x and HUGE difference), the ‘chrome’ is cheap plastic coating that came off when I put removable blue painters tape on back to help measure hole distance for install and gently pulled off, the retractable arm is stiff and requires fairly firm pulling which will exert added pressure on drywall installation, and the included mollys/screws are cheap and I recommend using a better quality. It looks nice and the light is a good feature if you have an outlet very close to charge it.
