The mirror is very nice with good lighting and optics, but the mounting base and bracket are weak and poorly designed. I had a professional electrician install mine and in the end the mirror does not seat firmly against the wall and wobbles when it’s used / exrended. It feels like its going to fall off of the wall at any minute. I might try and reengineer the base when I have time on a weekend, but for now I have to cross my fingers and hope the weight of the mirror dosen’t break the mount loose.

This is an excellent make up mirror. I love the dimmable light on both sides that one adjusts with a knob. The brushed nickel matches my bathroom fixtures perfectly. I chose the 7X magnification and it is just right for me. A handyman installed it near an outlet and it looks like it has always been there. I would highly recommend.

It’s looking sleek, it’s illuminating OK, it reflects, just don’t touch it. As built, it is near-impossible to install so it doesn’t wiggle like in an age-old cheap hotel. Seriously, the thumbscrews to fasten on a wiggly metal ring against the wall are a joke, and good luck finding a wall-box that is stable enough to hold it.
The lamp is *heavy*, has a long arm, and any force applied multiplies many times over to the piece that connects to the wall. That piece is a flimsy (thin) piece of metal, which ought to be secured to the in-wall box. Move the mirror, and the entire contraption wiggles. It is far away from a solid install, and as built, will look cheap. Stay away.
