   I was nervous buying this as it is a mirror and things tend to break during delivery but upon opening it, the mirror was in perfect condition. I needed an affordable mirror to place in my bedroom while still looking cute and this did just that! Instead of putting it over the door, I drilled a nail into a wall and hooked it on and it looked much better.

   Considering how far this mirror traveled, I was afraid it might get scratched or break but it arrived intact, clean, clear, and nearly perfect. I bought this particular mirror because of the stand and, although it looks like it will work, I opted to just lean the mirror against the wall. The screws on one side of the stand that attaches to the frame don’t seem to tighten at all so I didn’t want to chance the mirror falling. I suppose I could place some nuts on the other side or do/use something else to make sure the screws tighten sufficiently. I actually prefer the angle when it is slightly leaned. I placed some double stick foam tape on the back top edges to make sure the metal frame doesn’t scratch the wall. Other than the stand, it seems like a good quality, accurate mirror that is not too heavy yet heavy enough to stay in place. It’s much larger than I expected.

   I bought this black framed mirror originally to be a standing mirror in my bedroom but my room was to small for the proportions of the mirror. However I was able to bring new light and life to our dark hallway. We have an old house so the hallway is narrow. I never hung a mirror there because they weren’t decorative or pretty enough or the pretty ones were to thick. This mirror was perfect!! It’s sleek, low profile, and perfect. The frame feels solid and the black is matte like it’s been powder coated. One thing I look for are the corners of the frame. I don’t like when you can see obvious seams where the parts of the frame come together but with this, you can’t see them. The mirror glass is clear with great reflective value. The “kick stand” is removable with a simple Phillips screwdriver. I wanted the mirror as low profile as possible so I removed it but you don’t have to remove the kickstand to hang it. The kickstand is also made of sturdy Metal and the hinges lock so the mirror is secure while standing. There are two predrilled holes for hanging vertically only. They do supply two heavy duty screws and anchors. They were attached to the foam packaging and not the mirror, so you might have to look for them. Overall, this was a great purchase! It was well packaged and well designed. Definitely recommended.

   I was so afraid that this thing would arrive shattered like some horror stories. My luck is the worse. But chose this company, while others have the same mirror or similar, because their record for unshattered deliveries seemed better. It was packaged well. For those who might be questioning, this is a set of two mirrors, not one piece, which makes it even more versatile. But when mounting, it can be finicky, so a laser leveler, and lots of measurements (measure once, twice, then measure again) are critical steps that should be taken very seriously. You only get one chance. Be aware also, that the mounting screws should be used with washers. The reason for this is because the screws’ head aren’t large enough to hold the mirrors firmly against the wall, and I imagine a good enough nudge, let’s say if mounted in a passageway like I have them, will shove it right off the screws, and there goes your mirrors. As for the woman who received hers with an unaligned build, I hope the company replaced it. Mine is built well, alligned correctly, and without a doubt, beautiful. Crisp image. There’s a limit to how much a beautiful piece of decor can enhance a space, but it made some difference for me. However, I look forward to having a space that compliments the piece as well, and this will be a radical enhancement going forward.
