   Pretty much like everything. Installation really takes two people, otherwise all is good. ( Please overlook the patches in the wall around the edges as they have nothing to do with the mirror and were caused by the removal of a larger wall attached mirror). I have had this mirror now for about one year and it is very nice. My title “durable” relates to the fact that this mirror was knocked over while resting on the bedroom floor leaned up against our bed while awaiting installation. It landed on my contractors tool bag and I thought for sure it was destroyed, but it did not break or crack or damage in any way! The first mirror I ordered (from another source) was never delivered as it was damaged in the crate!!

   We really enjoy the mirror and the lighting is on a separate source than our basic lighting. It’s nice in the night if we need to turn on the light but want a soft and low light so as not to light up the whole area!

   I highly reccommend.

   Install was easy. I didn’t bother with the templates as I was aligning the brackets with the studs. The bracket, at least for this mirror, rests exactly 1″ below the top of the mirror so measuring was easy. I do wish there was a sliding bracket on the bottom that would hold the bottom against the wall once installed. It’s not a problem for my install, but if the wall is not perfectly plumb it could be problematic. The mirror itself is clear and the light is sufficient for the small bathroom I’m working on. The controls work easily and the instructions are clear on how to dim/etc. I do wish that the dimmable vs multi-color temperature and dimmable was clearer in the description, but the description is correct. It’s the right color temperature for my purposes regardless with the dimming working as described. The main issue I have, and the reason not to give 5 stars, is the wiring appears to be 18 gauge stranded. I hardwired this into a very standard 15 amp circuit, which uses 14 gauge solid core wire. For a higher end mirror like this, I’d really like to see solid core and, even better, 16 or 14 gauge to match household wiring. For features that I think would make this a better product (not negatives), I’d like to have the heater able to be tied to a switch on the wall. I’d also like the LED to be able to tie into an wall LED dimmer switch, even if that requires a switch that’s flipped on the back during install. Basically, allow the mirror to be controlled entirely by wall switches as opposed to the buttons.

   The mirrors looks beautiful. the light is not very bright. You will need another light on the wall, as being right in front of the mirror, the face doesn’t get enough light.
   The doors don’t close properly, they remain open and they make a loud noise. The mirror edge is not perfect. I gave it 3 stars because of these 3 issues. It takes a lot of work to install the mirrors and money to pay the electrician, I am not returning them. I will contact the seller to find out how can I fix the doors.

   Just as described. I wired the mirror light so it turns on with the vanity light. You can turn the mirror on and dim the light with the factory mirror control switch beside the defogger control switch.

   I ordered this mirror for bath Reno however with delays only have been able to install in beginning of nov….I had ordered it in March but it was stored in a room temperature controlled and in the shipping container. Went to turn it on today and nothing turns on, power switch checked and it is not the wires. Replacement sent and worked great for about a month and now lights do not turn on again we have literally gotten I
   One month use out of it

   Replacing light fixture and mirror in guest bathroom with this mirror. It looks way more modern and is super functional. Although it looked like it would be relatively easy to install, I opted for an electrician to do it because there was no ground wire coming from the mirror and I just didn’t want to mess it up. (30 min total) There is a tiny delay from flicking the switch to the mirror lighting up but it seems to work well. You can adjust the brightness by holding down the power button on the mirror. It’s a fairly intense LED, so if you are looking for soft white, this isn’t for you, although you can dim the bright white. Haven’t used the anti-fog feature yet. It arrives well-packed in styrofoam. I just hope it lasts over time, but I have no reason to believe it won’t. Ordered 2 more for my master bathroom. For $200 each (with gigamirror.com Coupon) it’s worth it for a little bathroom spruce-up.
