I was horrified when I started shopping for a large mirror for over my fireplace and saw how expensive they are. Originally I wanted an antique mirror, but antiquing is hard during COVID. So I shopped around online and eventually found this listing and decided to give it a shot. I used some leftover enamel paint to paint the frame dark green, and it took a few coats with a brush but adhered beautifully. I hung the mirror over my mantle, and looking at it you would never know it’s plastic instead of wood.
This was not the easiest to hang, even with a lebel it’s hard to get the two hooks to sit exactly even on the nails. Took me about 3 tries, eventually I just shoved a little string under one of the nails and voilà.

My walls are plaster. After months of ordering different wall hangers to go thru the 3/4 inch wall I found just one and a 1 inch washer to hang the mirror. The mirror looks great! It only took me about 30 seconds to hank it after the wall problem. Would buy again.

Definitely not white and should not be advertised as such. The color is bone with a yellowish hue. I’m in the process of painting it white.
