   Fantastic mirror with wonderful light and magnification. The mirror is a perfect size for countertop and looks beautiful. I have used this for over a year and it continues to work well. Love the nickel finish and the different light settings are very helpful.

   This replacement is going in the closet as a back up to my great Conair mirror. I ordered a new bulb for the Conair and will go back to using it. This mirror has 3 light settings, none that are bright enough. The magnification is suppose to be 8x on one side, but not even close to the old Conair that was 10x. Buyers remorse.

   Nice all-metal construction with good led lighting and high quality optics. But not the substantial heft you might expect from a mirror at this price point. And who thought it was a good idea to equip a bronze mirror with a humongous silver cord and silver control knob? It’s a really make-shift presentation. At minimum, Jerdon should have specified a brown power cord. And the cord itself is huge! Either make it retractable or use a coiled cord.

   I am still trying to decide whether to keep it or return it. Doesn’t take up much room which is great and I like the magnification (8x) but it i isn’t bright enough for my needs which takes. I had one of the older three mirror models (where two sides fold in) and it was much, much brighter. If you want light, this model isn’t it.

   Overall, I really like this mirror. I am so glad I found one that is electric plug in and not battery. The lighting system has 3 options and works great, very bright for people like me who require it. I also like the weight, it is much lighter in weight than my older model. The only things I do not like is that the pole is not adjustable, cannot be lifted or lowered, stays as is, and sometimes makes it difficult for me…. I have SMA, a muscular disease, so it requires me to move my head and neck which is kind of difficult at times. The other thing is the rotating switch, it moves only to the right, you have to go through all light options to find the right one and the same in turning it off, and it seems less quality than the rest of the light. It might have been nicer to have a light option separate from on off switch. It is easy to use and I really like it overall even though some design choices could have been better.

    Based on the star rating, I bit the bullet and purchased this mirror because I really needed a strength that would allow me to see whilst doing my makeup. Unfortunately there are a couple of reasons I feel this mirror was a waste of my money, resulting in me now not using … in fact I purchased a mirror for one-third the cost which I am loving. Okay, so what’s NOT good about this mirror:
    1. The cost (but that would not have been an issue had I have been happy with it)
    2. The weight … this is quite a heavy mirror
    3. Non-adjustable … unable to swivel around to the angle you need
    4. The height … again, you can’t adjust it, so it is essential you have the perfect height makeup table, or chair
    5. It is electric, not battery operated. Therefore you are limited to where you can set it up as it needs a power source.
    6. The size of the actual mirror is not big enough for see everything

    The build quality on this item was very disappointing for $160 CAD. Feels very light in the hands. The dimple that the switch sits in looks like it was beaten in with a dented hammer. The switch itself is very cheap. When you switch between light modes it causes the lights to flicker. The switch itself feels like it’s off a cheap lamp from the 1970s. The lighting actually didn’t work when it was plugged in for the first time! Something about unplugging it and plugging it back in fixed it. We will see how long that lasts. Overall, it seems like a 20 dollar mirror pretending to be a nice one actually worth the 160 dollar price tag. Terrible value.
