I’ve never really felt a need for a magnifying makeup mirror before, but we stayed in a hotel recently that had one of these on the vanity, and it was fantastic for makeup application! You can really see what you’re doing so you can apply eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrow pencil with precision. It also help you see where you haven’t blended your foundation quite enough which was not something I even knew I needed in my life until now. No more edges that haven’t been quite fully blended. The lighting in our bathroom isn’t great, so I got the lighted version. It’s a bit blinding and leaves an afterimage for a while, so I only use the light as needed.

Overall, this is a very good mirror, and comes we’ll packaged. The problem is that the light is way too bright, to the point that it is unusable for us. Issue could be resolved if the brightness was adjustable

Great magnifying mirror. Excellent clarity and magnification. Very attractive on my vanity. Heavy and well built, nothing is cheap about this mirror. I’d buy it again in a heart beat. Worth the price. For travel, it is a bit too large and heavier than I’d want if I were sightseeing across a country, but it probably measures similar to other magnifying mirrors.

Purchased the mirror after seen it in a Hyatt Hotel room. Useful (the x5 magnification is better than x3 and x10 for an overall use imo), sturdy and well designed (I found the incurved rectangle more confortable than round models equivalent). My wife loves it, that’s all I need to know 🙂
