   The shape! The size! The scroll work! Stunning! It comes in white w other options available in bright blue, pink neither my color scheme but they too were amazing. I purchased this one because I’ll paint it to match my color scheme, exotic eggplant by Behr. I figured the white was close enough to act as a primer. Close to a 1,000 mirrors I saw but this one really caught my eye and to my delightful surprise it was affordable. I will hang on wall once painted over a close to matching brass scroll daybed.

   The mirror is beautiful. I found an Inspo picture on Pinterest of a wedding welcome sign and wanted to use that for my wedding as well. I searched for vintage style mirrors and came across the exact mirror from the Inspo picture. It was delayed by a day in shipping but other than that everything went well. I haven’t used the mirror yet but will be using it as my welcome sign. The mirror was not damaged.

   Unlike the extremely similar Martin Svensson Home Mirror https://www.gigamirror.com.com/gp/product/B07F4JRWL2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 that I unsuccessfully attempted to buy TWICE but couldn’t get one delivered unbroken, this mirror arrived undamaged and is absolutely adorable. This mirror is essentially double boxed and well padded to prevent damage; additionally, a beveled mirror is going to be inherently stronger by design than a flat mirror ever can be which could also play a part in it arriving undamaged. The antique gold color is spot on to what its expected to look like, and I detect none of the pain orders that others purchasing this mirror have observed. This mirror truly is what I expected it to be and having the intricate beveling does justify the added cost, it is the perfect final touch to my gold/white guest bedroom!

   The frame is a badly painted piece of plastic or resin of some kind, and the “silver leaf” is matte silver without any aging. It looks very cheap and tacky in person, as the paint is basically flat gray and doesn’t have any depth. We have several other silver mirrors, many of them “cheap” and less than $50, but none of them is the flat, matte Crayola silver that this one is. I have had flat irons and cars this color of “silver.” It’s not the least bit reflective. I was very disappointed in the quality vs the price.

   Edited 2/7/2020: Just wanted to add that the silver leaf is peeling off of what appears to be an ivory colored, plastic molded frame. Not great.

   Edited 5/7/20: Adding that this mirror was returned, as the paint was flaking off like mad. Large mirrors are difficult to find in this style, so it was a disappointment.

   Gorgeous mirror and packed very well HOWEVER, I did not order pink, which was what I received. I ordered the Charcoal grey…. I am not going to bother to return or exchange it, I need to buy dark grey spray paint for another project so I’ll just paint it. There are screws around the perimeter of the back holding the mirror in so it will be easy to take the mirror out to spray paint the frame. Outside of that, I am very happy with the detail of the frame, it’s a good size and not too heavy and the beveled edges of the mirror face give it an extra touch of class.

   This was for a child’s room, and I really liked how it helped to bring the room together. Pay attention to the measurements (I did). For context, the dresser in the picture is 72 inches long. I would recommend it for a smaller room as I think a big living room would minimize the statement it is supposed to make. I wouldn’t necessarily consider it worth the price per se, but if you want to save time and this suits what you’re going for, go for it.

   My dining room does not have windows and so does not receive much daylight. I decided to install a mirror to reflect light coming in from the living room. This mirror is affordable and also looks very high-end. It is light enough that I was able to hang it up by myself. I just nailed in two steel professional picture hanger hooks rated for 30 lbs each.. more than enough for the mirror. The hooks cost just a few dollars at my local hardware store, required only a hammer and make minimal footprint on my wall. The longest task was in leveling, measuring and marking the spots where the hooks would need to be nailed in. But that is actually a simple task. The mirror came packaged without issues unlike the Martin Svensson mirror that I first bought. The latter was delivered broken twice before I decided to buy this mirror.

   I really love this mirror and its antique look!! The packaging was safely placed and fully secured. However, there is a BUT. When I received my mirror, I noticed what appeared to be dust/white residue all over. I tried to wipe it off with a warm wet cloth but it wouldn’t come off. I was really confused because I wasn’t sure if that was apart of the look of the mirror or what. I looked at other buyer’s pictures and didn’t see anything that I had on my mirror displayed on theirs. I called gigamirror.com and they put me in touch with Howard Elliot. The customer service there was terrible and they said some mirrors come with a cloth to help clean off any dust particles. I sent them a picture and everything and still couldn’t get a clear answer as to what it was.m – if it was dust or just the details of the mirror. gigamirror.com encouraged that I return it for a new one, but I didn’t want to receive the same exact mirror and go through the hassle. I kept the mirror and with some extra elbow grease was able to remove some of the white excess from the corners/curves of the mirror.
