   I was excited to purchase this and had a licensed electrician install it, but the LED has dimmed so much it’s now useless. I believe this product is defective and request either a replacement or a refund.

   This is a review of the Homecookin brand 28X36 LED bathroom mirror. I am in the process of remodeling my guest bathroom, which is on the smaller side measuring approximately 5′ by 8′. I love the accent strip lighting behind the recessed portion of the mirror. It gives the bathroom a nice modern touch. The anti-fog is also a nice feature given the size of my guest bathroom, which tends to really fog up when someone takes a shower. The brightness settings are adjusted by pressing the digital on/off button that is built into the mirror. There are 3 settings – White Light, Natural Light, and Warm Light. The anti-fog button is right next to the power button and turns on or off the same way. Everything functioned as expected. My only complaint is the on/off button was a little finicky. As you can see in the video, sometimes I would need to press the button more than one time to get it to change from one brightness level to another. There are a couple different ways to wire this mirror. You can run electrical and install an outlet behind the mirror, or you can cut the plug and hardwire to an existing electrical source. I ran electrical and installed a GCFI behind the mirror so that way it will a lot easier to replace in the event this mirror stops working. The mirror comes with two anchors and mounting screws. However, I’m not sure how much I trust the provided anchors. They didn’t seem to be very heavy duty given the mirror weighs about 22 pounds. It’s possible they are rated for the weight of the mirror, but I decided not to use them and instead mounted directly into the studs. If that is not possible, I would use molly bolts or some other anchor that is weight rated for up to 22 pounds. Overall, this mirror looks great and it added a nice modern touch to my guest bathroom. Aside from the brightness button being a little finicky it worked exactly as described. Highly recommend.

   The mirror looks great and works well. My one complaint is the plug. For a professional install you should have a recessed outlet box, it would be nice to see the mirror’s plug be flat so a flush wall outlet and the plug would fit into the mirror’s back without further modification

    These mirrors are amazing especially for the price. The installation was not difficult for me since I do know some basic electrical knowledge. I didn’t feel that they were to heavy, so I just placed Sheetrock anchors and no issues.
