I love the oval shape and it is a little wider than the more narrow rectangle one that I had leaning against the wall. My small dog would sometimes go near it and one time he bumped it, it fell and almost hit him. That is why I started searching. I wanted a similar tall wall mirror but not hang it on the wall and I needed it off the ground but very stable. This mirror is perfect! Great mirror size, espresso color, very stable and secure!
