   I bought the mirror for tweezing facial hair after having cataract surgery. It does the job but isn’t perfect. The magnification area on the mirror is small, and you have to move areas of your face around to see and tweeze the target area. That takes some getting used to, and at first I thought it wasn’t going to work for me. Once I accepted the mirror’s limitations, and found some work-arounds, I am comfortable, if not completely pleased, with the purchase. I find that it’s helpful to wear cheater glasses with the mirror to get better magnification. The housing is cheap plastic, and it’s not pretty, but function is more important to me.

   I purchased one of these same mirrors about 20 years ago and it still works perfect. I purchased a second one about one year ago as a spare. It was identical to the original mirror. No changes in 20 years. I purchased the 2nd one as a backup mirror in case the first one got broken. Very highly recommend this mirror. Hasn’t been cheapen at all after 20 years. So maybe I didn’t need a backup.

   I’ve used the Floxide mirror product for more than 20 years and I love it for several reasons: 1. It’s superb lighting does not leave shadows in any area of your face 2. It is easy to travel with as it conveniently folds up to fit in your travel bag 3. It works both by plug in or by battery power- again convenient for travel 4. It is reasonably priced 5. It is extremely reliable- the only reason I needed a new one is because I dropped and broke my old one. You can’t go wrong with this product!

    My first Floxite mirror was purchased in 2012. 13 years of fabulous. The wiring on the base to neck wore out. The light never did. You can see every rogue hair on your face. The new guy arrived today. Even better than the old one. Mainly because you can travel with it and use batteries. Or at home you can charge with a USB cord. I’m so happy with the quality and magnification. I bought a 21x travel mirror that is crap compared to this beauty. It does not disappoint.
