This mirror works great. My husband (who is an electrician) mounted and wired it in our remodeled bathroom. We ordered a different one first that mounted on the wall but plugged into an outlet. My husband cut the plug off and wired it into the wall. It lasted about 3 weeks then went out for some unknown reason. Since he altered it we could not return it so I ordered this one and so far so good. So many of these mirrors require batteries and I am not sure why. We looked at everything we could find online and in stores to find a wall mount with no batteries required. This one fit the bill.

I like having the mirror at face level. The arm and flipping the mirror from magnify to regular are both very stiff. Am hoping it loosens up with use.

the articulating arm on this mirror feels VERY overtightened. It’s just too stiff to use if you intend to move the mirror frequently. I’m sure it’s possible to find a “set and forget” location (in which case this mirror might be perfect, because it’s going to feel like it’s welded there), but that’s not our use case. We’re returning.
