   Only issues I had is it came with a few imperfections that’s really disappointed me other than that I enjoy it just wish the chips around the circumference of the outer edge disappointed me.

   It came well packaged to prevent damage during shipping. The mirror itself is clean and heavy for its size. But… No bag came with it. Perhaps it’s not supposed to come with a bag. If that’s the case don’t show a bag in the product description pictures. Overall I’m very happy with the product except for the part where I really wanted that bag.

    Yes, you can just look at nature. But when you look at its reflection in the black scrying mirror, it’s as if you are seeing it as an old painting. At first, I didn’t get it. But then I set it up so that it the woods outside my family room windows were reflected in it. It really is so interesting to see it that way. As to the product itself, it’s well made and attractive. Perhaps if I were to buy another one, I’d get a larger one.

    I’ve been viewing eclipses through obsidian for decades. The obsidian I have used came from the Yucatán in Mexico, a known origin. In every instance of viewing the sun or the eclipse through my Mexican-purchased obsidian, the sun appears yellow. However, when using this piece of “obsidian”, when you look through it, the sun looks purple. This indicates it’s black glass, not obsidian. Retuning this piece next.

    I hope it’s truly black obsidian there’s so many fakes I wish it was easier to decipher them. It’s my favorite rock right now and is highly reflective! I got the big one that I can barely hold with one hand and I’m in love with it. (Scorpios apparently have stronger connections with the stone, as I found out after I got it)
